This BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is one of America’s favorite comfort foods. Tender pork is slow-cooked until it falls apart, then tossed in a smoky homemade barbecue sauce and served on soft brioche buns with creamy coleslaw. Every bite is juicy, smoky, and absolutely irresistible.
Ingredients
Pulled Pork
3 lbs pork shoulder
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 cup BBQ sauce
½ cup chicken broth
For Serving
4 brioche buns
Coleslaw
Extra BBQ sauce
Pickles
Instructions
Mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Rub the seasoning all over the pork shoulder and place it in a slow cooker with the chicken broth.
Cook on LOW for 8–10 hours until the pork is extremely tender.
Shred the pork with two forks and mix it with the BBQ sauce.
Lightly toast the brioche buns.
Pile the pulled pork onto each bun, top with creamy coleslaw and pickles, then drizzle with extra BBQ sauce before serving.
