A homemade Bacon Cheeseburger is the king of American comfort food. Juicy beef, crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, and a toasted brioche bun come together to create the perfect burger. Every bite is packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying.
Ingredients
Burger Patties
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Toppings
4 brioche buns
8 slices bacon
4 slices cheddar cheese
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Pickles
Red onion
Burger sauce
Instructions
Divide the beef into four equal portions and gently shape into burger patties. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the burgers for about 4 minutes per side. During the last minute, place cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.
Toast the brioche buns with a little butter until golden.
Spread burger sauce on both halves of the buns. Layer lettuce, tomato, burger patty, crispy bacon, pickles, and onion.
Top with the other bun and serve immediately with fries.
