Garlic Parmesan Fries are one of America’s favorite side dishes, and once you make them at home, you’ll never want frozen fries again. They’re crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and coated with melted butter, fresh garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Perfect with burgers, steak, or simply on their own.
Ingredients
4 large russet potatoes
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp melted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and peel the potatoes if desired, then cut them into even fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then dry thoroughly with paper towels.
Toss the fries with vegetable oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
Meanwhile, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic.
As soon as the fries come out of the oven, drizzle them with the garlic butter, then sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Toss gently and serve immediately.
